The Inter Turku Game

An hour or so later we played this team Inter Turku . The youth team from the top division in Finland. One of the tallest sides around.

The team started a lot better in this match even though it seemed to be getting hotter. A header from Sturge goes close in this pic.

We still had to keep them out at the other end.

A clearance upfield from their central defence with Hatch looking on.

A cross from the left is wasted. Even midfield had got up for this one.

Our left winger Barry scores the first goal of the match, our first of the tournament.

We did mark them closely, so how did they score 3 goals.

One of our forwards tries to lob the keeper. Unsuccessful on this occasion because of the keepers height. We eventually lost the match 3-1.
